What is Lobbying Day?

Lobbying day is the first official day of the Borneo Global Issues Conference and is held at the International School of Brunei campus. It is where all the forums get their resolutions finalised and submitted to their assigned chairs, to get them printed and ready to go for the following three days of debate at the International Conference Centre, Brunei. Some of the things that delegates must remember is to correctly format their resolutions and make any last-minute grammar checks. This year, forums were quick in submitting their resolutions and many found that their first submission was accepted. Along with the excitement of having your resolution submitted, the stress of having your resolution accepted by potential co-sponsors is also high. Suspense is at an all-time high and is released shortly with an applause and celebration as they’re given their results.
