BGIC 2020 is Fast Approaching!

As we get closer to the end of 2019, BGIC 2020 is fast approaching. Soon, students will gather once again to brainstorm exciting ideas and debate pressing sustainability issues on countries they'll be representing.
The theme for BGIC 2020 is 'Youths Call for More Sustainable Cities and Communities', which is Sustainable Development Goal 11 that builds on the principle of "leaving no one behind", to emphasize a holistic approach to achieving sustainable development for all. This goal aims to increase the inclusivity, sustainability, and accessibility of urban and rural areas.
More than half of the world’s population now live in urban areas. By 2050, that figure will have risen to almost two-thirds of all humanity. Sustainable development cannot be achieved without significantly transforming the way we build and manage our urban spaces.
