Final Day of ISB BGIC 2018

It's the final day of the 14th BGIC! To start the last day off two guest speakers from the Brunei Shell Petroleum, Adina Bidin and Heather Ptak, came to deliver a talk to the students present. All the delegates were gathered and divided into two forums for the general assembly to pass the resolutions. There was a wash of serious faces as the delegates tried their hardest to fight for their resolutions. It was a nice sight to see all the delegates develop new friendship and becoming much closer to each other compared to day one. Towards the end of the General Assembly, all the delegates were relieved to have learned that all their hard work has paid off. Not only this but they have also acquired new life skills that they can adapt for their future work lives. BGIC is truly a place for students from all over Brunei to gain new experiences and make plenty of new friends from different schools as well as forming precious memories they can hold forever.

The closing ceremony was the perfect ending to BGIC! After working hard for the past 4 days, SGs, Chairs, Delegates as well as everyone who participated, such as the media & news team and the staff were gifted with certificates and gifts to commemorate their hard work towards the 14th BGIC. The food prepared by the Saffron lifted the spirits of everyone in the room as the menu and table setting were fitted according to the theme of 'Life Below Water'. The atmosphere was electrifying yet nostalgic. Delegates were taking and bidding goodbye to their newly made friends hoping to meet again. Appreciation was given to everyone who has made this event possible. BGIC is a memorable event for everyone. The memories and friendships created will be remembered. This event has given everyone an opportunity to make a difference and we hope that they will continue serving the community and environment.
